Quality resources. Quality metals.
The metallic salts we manufacture and supply — cobalt, copper and nickel — are among
the purest available anywhere in the world. Our chromic acid also meets the same
stringent purity criteria.
The high standards we set for quality are widely recognized in the industry. In fact,
these salts have a level of consistency that makes them easier and more economical for
our customers to work with in their own manufacturing operations.
Our metals come in many forms, including sulfates, chlorides, oxides, carbonates,
hydroxides and nitrates and are used for a variety of applications, including:
- Algaecides
- Ceramics
- Chemical catalysts
- Colorants
- Compounds for the ceramic industry
- Computers
- Electroplating
- Fungicides
- Glass pigments
- Micronutrients
- Mining reagents
- Photography
- Pigments
- Pressure-treated lumber production
- Printed Circuit Boards
- Printing
- Water treatment chemicals
Our expertise in hydrometallurgical process, separation, purification technologies and
particle-size control has led to several developments in nanomaterials and super-purity
products. We’re also a leading supplier of etchants to the printed wire-board and
chemical-milling industries.
Our modern, state-of-the-art plants provide quality products and full-service inorganic
chemical recycling. Customer service, technical support and sales are local to each
market and allow us to work closely with end users.
Exceptional etchants
At Phibro Animal Health Corporation, we’re proud to provide the printed circuit-board
industry with the etchants used in today’s electronic products. Special manufacturing
techniques, developed through decades of experience, allow for better accuracy and
reproducibility when etching high-precision parts.
Once the circuit boards are made, we recycle any spent etchants for use in copper-based
products. Ammonia is also recovered and reused in new etchant products.
