Broad spectrum antibiotic feed supplement for the treatment and prevention of diseases associated with oxytetracycline sensitive organisms.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Terramycin 200 is a broad spectrum antibiotic feed supplement for the treatment and prevention of diseases associated with oxytetracycline sensitive organisms.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Terramycin 200 is indicated for in-feed dosage of poultry, pigs, sheep, calves and cattle for the treatment and prevention of diseases due to, or associated with Terramycin sensitive organisms.

MIX THOROUGHLY WITH OTHER FEED INGREDIENTS.

Medicated feeds should be used within one month.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS
MEAT: DO NOT USE less than:
5 days – cattle and sheep
4 days – pigs
7 days – poultry

MILK: Milk taken from animals within 72 hours (6 milkings) following last treatment. MUST NOT BE USED for human consumption or supplied for processing.
EGGS: DO NOT administer to poultry laying eggs for human consumption.

Poultry For treatment and as an aid in prevention of Chronic Respiratory Disease
(CRD Air-Sac Infection; Infectious Coryza; Infectious Sinusitis; Infectious
Synovitis; Heamitiasis; Fowl Cholera; Bacterial Enteritis (Scours);
Salmonellosis; Stress due to beak trimming, vaccination etc.
Add 1-2 kg of Terramycin 200 per tonne of feed (200-400 g active per 1000kg
feed) according to severity of infection
Pigs For treatment and as an aid in prevention of Leptospirosis.

Enzootic Pneumonia; Bacterial Enteritis (Scours); Piglet Pneumonia; Gut
Oedema

Add 2.5-5kg Terramycin 200 per tonne of feed for 7-14 days before farrowing.
Prevention should be based on vaccination

Add 1-2kg Terramycin 200 per tonne of feed according to severity of
infection

Sheep and Calves For treatment of Bacterial Enteritis; Salmonellosis; Calf Diphtheria;
Pasteurellosis; Pneumonia
Provide 2.5g Terramycin 200 per 50kg bodyweight per head per day and
continue to treat until 24 hours after symptoms disappear
Cattle Bacterial diseases associated with stresses such as transport, relocation,
foot paring, dehorning, etc.
Provide 5g Terramycin 200 per head per day in feed for the first seven days
following entry into the feedlot. This may be repeated for 1-3 days during
periods of stress.

DISPOSAL:

Shake remainder into the medicated feed. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. Shred and bury empty bag in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available bury the bag below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty bag and product should not be burned.

IF IN EYES wash out with plenty of water. Seek medical attention.
IF ON SKIN wash with plenty of water.
IF SWALLOWED rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting.
